EU-China Timber Trade Roadshow
(For producers, suppliers and buyers of timber products)

The UK Timber Trade Federation (TTF) together with the Dutch Timber Trade Association (VVNH) have joined forces to implement a programme of market research and trade forums to communicate changes in requirements for legal and sustainable timber.
The Chinese timber industry faces many challenges meeting international market requirements, but new EU legislation and public and private sector purchasing policies (such as the TTFs Responsible Purchasing Policy) are now combining to require legal and sustainable timber. The Timber Trade Action Plan (TTAP) was developed to provide a solution to some of these problems.
The roadshow will present an unparalleled opportunity identified traders to meet directly with Chinese producers of hardwood and plywood products on a one-to-one basis.
As part of TFT's and TTAP's ongoing program of work in China, we are providing support to the organization of this event and will be key participants.
